Little India Field Trip

Oh WOW... Little India was AMAZING. We went there on yesterday, the 29th of March The first station we went to was the Sriveerakailiaman Temple. The central tower was indeed very complicated. But the bells at the entrance was way cool. The second station was... Ah! Belilios Road with one of the most famous flower shops there. The Indians usually sell flowers in garlands. It usually consists of the Jasmine, Marigold and the Rose. Jasmine represents happiness. The third station was the Sari Shop. And my... Wasn't the Saris beautiful! I find the Sari special because no sewing is required. Just... Fling it here and there and it's done! The embroidery on the silk is also very nice. Then, we went to the Accesory shop which was the fourth station. We saw a variety of accesories for sale like... The Bindi, bangles, necklaces, anklets and temporary tatoos. We even got temporary tatoos for FREE! Though the parent volunteer, which was our tour guide, bought us a packet of Bindis each, no one liked theirs because I took the nicest!*hehe* The fifth station was the Spice shop. Our group was planning to have an interview but the stall holder couldn't answer most of our questions... WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! When we went into the shop, the aroma was so nice!!! My mouth even watered(but at least my mouth was closed). Next, we went to the sixth station which was the Fortune Teller... We were expecting the Fortune Teller to be there but... She wasn't there... Just an empty cage and an empty chair with no one sitting on it... Our faces, from a cheery face, it suddenly became black. Urgh... Why is the previous group so lucky??? They even got the fortune teller to tell their fortune!!! *"^£&!%_? *sigh* Forget it. Then, we strutted to our last station... THE BURGER KING!!! We ordered 3 containers of French Fries and the parent volunteer treated us to Coke and to Chocolate chip Ice-cream!!! Though I took a bit of Claire's... *hehe* After half an hour at Burger King, we cleared the tables and headed back for school. The teachers even asked us to try our Bindis! Lynn told me I looked very nice... Haha. I even took a photo with Yi Hui. She was wearing a red Bindi while I was wearing a blue one. My! I looked horrible ok... Anyway, I can smell my Grandma's cooking and my mouth is already watering and my tummy is grumbling. So... NO MORE BLOGGING IN THIS POST.
