Cleaner or Actress for the day???

ARGH. So many things happening these few days... SO DAMN STUPID OK! My school has this new programme where each class has to be responsible for 1-4 tables in the canteen. And unlucky me. I had to clean one table today. I mean, my whole row. Register number 1-7. And I am number 2!!! Luckily I didn't clean the table with the bird shit. Aky (Akshaya) didn't even turn up and she is number 1!!! HATE HER!!! Ok lah... Joking. Just mad that she didn't suffer with me. Today was the auditions for the "National Day Production". At first our form teacher asked the class to nominate a good speaker. I mean like, not the speaker which when you speak into the microphone and the sound come out from the speaker that speaker but those kind of... People who go on television and speak that kind of speaker? Yea... Our class nominated some people. These are the names of the people who are nominated and the names of the nominators.

Ok. Then Mrs C Ng asked us whether we were comfortable with it. All of us were ok except for Lynn!!! So... Duh. She got short-listed or cancelled of the list. So like I said, today was the auditions and you are supposed to line up in your classes, according to register number. So after AM5 (Amethyst 5), is my class, BU5 (Burgundy 5). So I am like the second in my class!!! Everyone was so nervous. Then there is this woman outside with us and she is supposed to take down our attendance. She briefed us on what the "Ang Mo"(Teochew for American) was going to ask us. He was going to ask us our name, age and ambition. I was like practising outside the audition room ok! So I asked Akshaya to "test" me. "Ok. What is your name?" Akshaya asked in a very american type of way. I was about to laugh but then I said "My name is Ananta." "CHIDCHOKCHAI!" Hilary interrupted. And that's my surname, in case you were wondering. So we went through all that. When it was my turn, I was shaking nervously. I stepped in and I saw the "Ang Mo". In his hands was a black Pilot G-2 0.5 pen and an A'Zone notebook(Ahem, I am very observant). So he started asking me about myself. Then when he came to the "What is your ambition?" question, I froze. Trying hard to recall the lines I had practiced earlier on, I started with the words "An Architect." Suddenly I remembered my lines. "What makes you interested about being an architect?" He asked. "I want to be like my father and create wonderful buildings, condominiums, skyscrapers and many others." So he was like making a face expression which clearly says "Mmm... Great!" So he then asked about my family. I told him that my mother is a Singaporean, my father and my grandmother are both Thais and I am mixed blood which practically explains my name. Well, got to go now. Grandma is calling. Anyway, just paid the money for the Mother's Day Cake today... Hope you will love your mothers forever!



These feelings rushed through my mind on Tuesday, May 02, 2006
